La semana pasada fui invitado por la gente de Fresita (@Fresita_Panama) a dar un master class de estilo y tendencias en su primer Get Together en The Hype. Hablamos de cinco tendencias de las colecciones SS15 y aplicarlas utilizando marcas de la boutique, como: Stone_Cold_Fox, Faithfull the Brand y For Love and Lemons. Jony Cedhern también nos enseñó tips para sacar a relucir tu verdadera belleza con maquillaje MAC en un beauty master class. Entre tanto sparkling wine y tantas mujeres bonitas creo que se me olvidó que era día de semana y que me tocaba levantarme al día siguiente. Por suerte quedan las fotos para recordar :D

Last week I was invited by Fresita to give a master class during their first Get Together at The Hype. We went through five trends from the SS15 runways and explored how to get them with the current collection from The Hype (@thehypepanama), featuring brands like Stone_Cold_Fox, Faithfull the Brand and For Love and Lemons. Jony Cedhern also gave us the best tips on how to bring out the best in you with a beauty master class sponsored by MAC Cosmetics. With all the sparkling wine and an attendance of beautiful, strong, independent women I think I totally forgot that it was workday and that I had to wake up early the next day, luckily we still have the pictures to relive the moments :D

A Soho Night Affair

El mejor night affair definitivamente es con la gente que conoces y con la que te diviertes. Anoche la gente del nuevo y exclusivo Soho Mall invitó a algunas de esas personas que conozco, aprecio y quiero a que conociéramos lo que promete ser la nueva ventana de lujo de Panamá para toda la región.

Tengo que ser sincero y contarles que normalmente no me gustan para nada los eventos dentro de centros comerciales pero anoche la pasé tan bien que ni me di cuenta, es más, espero que se repita ;)

The best night affair definitely has to be with your friends and colleagues, people you appreciate and have fun with. Last night the people at Soho Mall invited some of these peeps I really care about for a cocktail at what will surely be the biggest luxury window from Panama to the complete region.

Gotta be honest, normally I do not like events inside malls that much but last night I had so much fun I didn’t even notice it; when is round 2? :D

Hace unos días todos nos reunimos en la Mansión Chanel para darle la bienvenida a la colección primavera/verano 2015 que tuve la suerte de conocer en el desfile el septiembre pasado en el Grand Palais en Paris. Aquí les van las fotos de algunos detalles de esta colección.

Welcome to the Chamber of Secrets

Finalmente la Cámara de los Secretos ha sido abierta.

El jueves pasado fui a la pre-apertura de una de las tiendas más esperadas por los y las panameñas, Forever 21. La apertura a todo público fue hoy sábado en la mañana y ya para cuando estén leyendo este blog post lo más probable es que se hayan vuelto locos o locas en la nueva tienda, y no las o los culpo, los precios están súper buenos y como todos sabíamos, es ropa que esta muy actualizada con lo que son las tendencias gringas, lo único malo es que no ha llegado la ropa de hombre pero por ahí escuché que llegará en más o menos 4 meses.

Siendo Forever 21 una tienda de fast-fashion lo único que les recomiendo es que sean muy sabios al comprar, puede que sea un arma de doble filo: ropa chévere a buenos precios, pero también estoy seguro que ese momento en que encuentras a alguien vistiendo lo mismo que tú estará pasando más a menudo y nadie quiere eso así que no sean fashion victims y compren con inteligencia.

No dejemos que el basilisco nos coma.

The Chamber of Secrets has been finally opened.

Last Thursday I was invited to the pre-opening party of the new Forever 21 store in Multiplaza. I got some cool stuff like a pullover and a bunch of accessories. By now you have probably visited the store since the official opening was this morning. By this time also you probably splurged a lot of money and I don’t blame you, we all love some Forever 21 in our lives but I just want to advice everyone who’s reading this to be careful, fast-fashion can be a double-edge sword, none of us want that oh-someone’s-wearing-the-same-shit-as-me moment nor be a fashion victim so shop intelligently. Do not let the basilisk fuck you over.
