On Our Way to La Décima!

La clave para pasar una buena noche es simple: buenos tragos, buenos amigos y The Beachers. 

Anteanoche fue el primer fundraiser de la Décima Bienal Centroamericana, que desde sus inicios en 1998 ha sido gestionada por parte de Panamá por Tía Carmen Alemán Healy (Grupo Arteconsult y FundAHrte) y la Fundación Fernández Pirla. 

Con una subasta silenciosa con piezas de artistas como Cisco Merel, Fernando Toledo, Gabriela Esplá, Sandra Eleta, Anna Carolina Gelabert, Santiago Cruz, y muchos más, un súper atinado monólogo del genio Jaguar Clandestino y para finalizar los increíbles tunes calipsos de los Beachers que en serio nos pusieron a TODOS a bailar. Fue una noche mágica, la vibra que circulaba sobre nosotros como una nube era burbujeante y contagiosa, de verdad espero que más noches como esta se repitan.

The formula for a great night is simple: drinks, great people and… The Beachers!

Wednesday night was the witness of the first fundraising party on our way to the Tenth Central American Biennale, which from its beginnings has been handled by Carmen Alemán Healy from Grupo Arteconsult and FundAHrte, and the Fernández Pirla Foundation. 

With a silent auction with pieces by artists like Cisco Merel, Fernando Toledo, Gabriela Esplá, Sandra Eleta, Anna Carolina Gelabert, Santiago Cruz and many more, a right-on-the-spot monologue by the master of words Jaguar Clandestino, and to end things rights, the calypso tunes of The Beachers. It was truly a magical night, the vibe that hovered above us like a cloud was bubbly and contagious, I really hope night like that would repeat.

A Soho Night Affair

El mejor night affair definitivamente es con la gente que conoces y con la que te diviertes. Anoche la gente del nuevo y exclusivo Soho Mall invitó a algunas de esas personas que conozco, aprecio y quiero a que conociéramos lo que promete ser la nueva ventana de lujo de Panamá para toda la región.

Tengo que ser sincero y contarles que normalmente no me gustan para nada los eventos dentro de centros comerciales pero anoche la pasé tan bien que ni me di cuenta, es más, espero que se repita ;)

The best night affair definitely has to be with your friends and colleagues, people you appreciate and have fun with. Last night the people at Soho Mall invited some of these peeps I really care about for a cocktail at what will surely be the biggest luxury window from Panama to the complete region.

Gotta be honest, normally I do not like events inside malls that much but last night I had so much fun I didn’t even notice it; when is round 2? :D

La Fete de Perrier

Si hay algo que la gente de Perrier conoce es como celebrar, imagínense entonces celebrar 150 años. Esto es lo que hizo la gente de Société Perrier Panamá este jueves. Con una fiesta al estilo del Warhol Factory todos terminamos moviendo las nalgas al son de la música rica y de unos tragos riquísimos obviamente mezclados con un poco de Perrier (vodka con Perrier es lo mas!).

Quiero recordarles que este Septiembre Perrier me esta mandando a Madrid a cubrir las pasarelas y eventos de Madrid Fashion Week como su reportero exclusivo así que vayan ya a seguirlos en Twitter @societeperrierp y en su Facebook Fan Page (Société Perrier) porque les prometo que les traeré lo mejor de la moda madrileña ;)

If there’s something the people at Perrier really are experts with is celebrating, imagine now celebrating its 150 anniversary! This past Thursday they threw a super cool party Warhol Factory style, we all ended up shaking our asses with the best music & the best cocktails, obviously mixed with a little bit of that sparkly, delicious water called Perrier.

Don’t forget that this September Société Perrier is sending me overseas to the beautiful city of Madrid to attend all the shows of Madrid Fashion Week which I will be covering for them through their social networks & here on the blog so make sure you follow them on Twitter @societeperrierp & their Facebook Fan Page (Société Perrier) ‘cause you wouldn’t want to miss all the fun straight from Madrid ;)

Esta foto no es de la fiesta de Perrier pero creo que vale la pena mostrárselas, no todos los días uno ve a una persona vestida tan llamativamente y menos en Panamá.
