La temporada primavera/verano 2017 es oficialmente la primera en ver
nacer el nuevo sistema “see-now-buy-now” que tanto nos ha tenido hablando por
el último año. Diseñadores como Tommy Hilfiger - que puso en escena uno de los
desfiles más ambiciosos hasta la fecha con booths especiales en los que podías
comprar las piezas que veías al momento en la pasarela; Ralph Lauren, quien
utilizó su tienda de 5th Ave. como locación para que clientas pudieran comprar
las piezas apenas terminaba el desfile; Tom Ford, que mudó su desfile a NYFW, y
próximamente Burberry, marca pionera de este movimiento.
Pero esta temporada no solo vio el nacimiento de esta tendencia de
negocios, también fue el alba de nuevas tecnologías cuyo propósito era
transformar y hacer crecer la industria de la moda global.
The Spring/Summer 2017 season has officially seen the birth of the new "see-now-buy-now" system that we've all been raving about for the past year. Designers and brands the like of Tommy Hilfiger - who probably just staged his most ambitious show ever, which included booths where you could buy the clothes that were just being presented; Ralph Lauren also orchestrated his show at his 5th Ave. flagship, a sort of instigation for clients to go to the store and buy the clothes immediately; Tom Ford, who moved his show to The Big Apple also joined the posse.
But this season not only marked the start of this new business trend, it also served as the plateau of new technologies whose goal was to transform and grow the global fashion industry.
