Girls is back!

Como pudieron haber visto en uno de mis posts más recientes, soy un gran fanático de Girls, la serie de televisión, la cual regresó después de 6 meses de estar fuera del aire el pasado domingo. Ya casi una semana después confieso ya haber visto los dos capítulos estreno más de 3 veces cada uno; esta temporada estará tan fucking buena que ni yo me lo creo, los scripts están tan bien escritos que decidí que durante toda la temporada les compartiré mis quotes  y momentos favoritos de cada capítulo. Aquí les van mis favoritos de los dos primeros capítulos ;)

As you may have seen in one of my recent blog posts, I am highly obsessed with Girls. After 6 months, the show returned to the warm embraces of its devoted fans, just like the prodigal son. Now, after almost a week of the premiere of the third season I confess that I’ve watch the first two episodes more than three times; this season is gonna be fucking awesome, I am in love with the script, specially Shoshanna’s –my female version. That’s why I decided to share with ya’ll my favorite quotes  and moments from each episode. Here are my picks from the first two episodes ;)

Guuuurls

 Enero marca una fecha muy importante para mi: el regreso mis series favoritas y el comienzo de nuevos shows de televisión que me tendrán pegado a la pantalla de mi laptop durante el año. Muchas de estas series han tomado una pausa por las fiestas de fin de año pero también hay otras que se han desaparecido por mucho más tiempo.

Cuando me acercaba más al 2014 tenía dos cosas en mente: “ya falta menos para que regrese Girls” y “ya falta menos para que estrene Looking”; si no saben de que hablo permítanme refrescar su gris vida con un poco de color televisivo gracias a las mentes maestras de HBO.

January’s arrival marks something very important in my calendar: the Prodigal Son-ish return of my favorite TV shows. Some of them were taking a holiday break, but others were just making me more anxious since being out of the scene for 6 months is what they usually do for their vacations.

Last year, every single day that passed meant that I was getting closer to: 1) the return of HBO’s Girls and 2) the premiere of Looking, HBO’s new baby, or should I say boy toy? If you are not fully aware of what I’m talking about let me bring some colors and clarity to your sad, grey and blurry life.

Of Carries and Diaries...

Hoy por fin saqué una parte de mi mañana para hacer algo que llena mi alma como no tienen idea: ver mis series de televisión – o mejor dicho internet. Una de las series que más estaba esperando era The Carrie Diaries, con todo y que se nota demasiado la ausencia de Pat Fields, me gusta mucho, sobre todo ahora en la segunda temporada que Walt ya esta afuera del clóset y que se mudó con Carrie al loft de Larissa, y please háblenme de la entrada de Samantha Jones en la serie, háblenme de eso!!

Por eso me pareció muy oportuno subir este retrato que le tomé a Chloé Bridges afuera de la presentación de  Alice & Olivia durante New York Fashion Week, les recomiendo que vean la serie que esta super guay! Bye.

Today I finally took some time in the morning to do something I really really love: catching up with my series. One of the shows that I was most psyched, The Carrie Diaries. I have to confess that at first I wasn’t that impressed by it, specially because of the lack of stylish visual stimulations, but know I’m hooked, even more now that Walt has embraced his gayness & that he moved with Carrie to Larissa’s loft in Manhattan, and what is there to say about the entrance of Samantha into the plot!

Taking account of this excitement I decided to show you the portrait I took of one of the actresses of the show, Chloé Bridges, better known as Donna LaDonna. And seriously guys and ladies, you should see this show, I know it may be cheesy and overly girly but who cares. Bye.
