My Spektres Bring All The Boys To The Yard
El mundo de los accesorios es uno en el que muy
fácilmente nos podemos perder; la locura de comprar sin parar puede venir en
forma de bolsos, brazaletes, anillos, zapatos y lentes de Sol y ópticos.
Mientras que es muy pero muy cierto que debemos de basar nuestro clóset en
buenos clásicos como unos wayfarers o en bolso Amazona de Loewe (que lo fokin
amo) de vez en cuando llegan marcas que me quitan el sueño (y algunos dólares).
Hace poquitito descubrí que en un nuevo kiosko de
Multiplaza llamado Presidente 1906 vendían una marca de lentes de sol y ópticos
que le he tenido el ojo puesto desde hace un tiempo ya que es la marca favorita
de personalidades que sigo ya sea en Instagram o en revistas; la cantidad de
fanáticos de los SPEKTRE Sunglasses es muy grande pero como se que les dará
pereza saber de tooodos ellos se los resumo a algunos de los más cool: Giovanna
Battaglia, Chiara Ferragni, Anna Dello Russo, Garance Doré, Eleonora Grazia, Miroslava
Dumas, Consuelo Castiglioni de Marni, Scott Schuman aka The Sartorialist y por
último, yo (lol).
En un próximo post te mostraré las otras opciones de
lentes que hay en caso de que busques marcos ópticos (que por cierto ya me
llevé uno, por ahí les muestro), mientras tanto aquí te enseño los modelos de

The World of fashion accessories is
one hell of a whirlwind; madness can come in the form of handbags, jewelry,
shoes, sunglasses and optic glasses. While it’s a veracious statement to say
that classic pieces will always be a solid foundation of a timeless and elegant
closet, there are days when a really fucking cool brand comes your way to lust
your eye with I’m-drooling-over-them pieces.
Not so long ago I found out that a
brand of Italian sunglasses I’ve been following for a while is been sold here
in the heart of Panama at a kiosk called Presidente 1906; and it’s not just an
average eyewear brand, it has fans that are as cool as a cold margarita on a
Friday afternoon: Giovanna Battaglia, Anna Dello Russo, Chiara Ferragni,
Garance Doré, Eleonora Grazia, Miroslava Dumas, Consuelo Castiglioni, Scott
Schuman from The Sartorialist, etc. are just a few of the fashion heavyweight
that have this affordable-uber-cool luxury in their sight.
While they maybe strutting down Paris
or who know where, I’ll show you my favorite styles & models from their new
collection, and in an upcoming post I’ll show you the optic frames that would
be perfect companions in an afternoon of magazine reading (I even bought a pair
of frames that I’ll show you later); in the mean time you can find out more

And the Oscar goes to...
Ha
pasado bastante tiempo desde mi último post; parte de eso es porque el trabajo
no me ha dado tiempo de nada y cuando llego a mi casita caigo rendido en mi
cama pero una prioridad para mi siempre ha sido ver las películas nominadas a
los Oscars antes de la ceremonia, no hay nada como tener un juicio formado y
poder tener una opinión válida antes que abran ese sobre y en caso de que sea
una injusticia tu puedas ser el primero en quejarte.
De
todos los nominados hay solo dos que tienen mi corazón: Jared Leto (DUH!) y
Michael Fassbender (o mejor dicho, F-Assbender). A pesar de que no estaré en la
ciudad para ver el red carpet ni la ceremonia porque me voy para Bocas del Toro
para Carnavales solo quiero decirle algo a los dos: aquí esta su Oscar ;)
BTW:
¿a quién le vas? ¿cuál película/actor/actriz crees que gane? ¿no estas fucking
emocionado por ver a Idina Menzel? Muchas preguntas, muchas respuestas que

It’s been a
while since my last post; part of it is because working at a magazine leaves
almost no room for more and when I finally get to my place I fall asleep
immediately – I’m getting fucking old- but I have at least separated some night
to watch the movies that are nominated to the Oscars for something big (like
Best Movie or Best Costume Design); this is a huge priority for me because
there’s nothing like watching the Oscars knowing every contender, its flaws ad
its strengths.
From all of
the A-list artists who are nominated this year there are only two that have won
my heart: Jared Leto (OBVS!!) and mister Michael Fassbender (or should we say
Fucking-Assbender?) and even though I’m not gonna be in the city to watch the
red carpet nor the ceremony I just want to make sure that both of them know
that here is their Oscar ;)
BTW: whom are
you ruling for? Which actress/actor/movie do you think will win? Aren’t you
like super excited for Idina Menzel or is it just me being super gay? Loads of
questions, a lot of answers as well, write them down below in the comment
