Seen... The Girl On The Bus

El último día (o mejor dicho la última noche de MBFWP16), cuando íbamos ya listos para el after party de Coup D’État Magazine en el Waldorf nos dimos cuenta que todas mis cosas se habían quedado en el carro de Alessandra Grau, una súper diseñadora amiga que había presentado esa noche.

Con solo la tarjeta de Metro de Roshni, nos montamos en un bus público para llegar a la fiesta y FUE LO MEJOR! Hasta sacamos fotis ;)

The last day (or may I say night) of MBFWP16, when we were all turnt for the Coup D’État Magazine after party at the Waldorf Astoria I realized I had left all of my shit at Alessandra Grau’s car, a friend of mine who’s a great designer and had presented her latest collection that same night.

With only Roshni’s Metro card we (me, Roshni and my best friend Guille) hopped on a public bus to get to the party and WE HAD A BLAST! We even took some photos ;)

Random Encounter / Sarah

A Sarah la conocí hoy justo cuando salí del desfile de Louis Vuitton. La detuve en media calle para tomarle una foto de beauty pero ya se había quitado el maquillaje y por eso nos pusimos a conversar largo y tendido sobre cómo le había ido esta temporada.

Sarah es de Memphis, fue descubierta allá mismo pero ahora vive en New York para poder seguir su carrera como modelo, la que parece haber comenzado con el buen pie: su primer desfile fue Alexander Wang en la pasada Fall/Winter 2015 y ayer camino para Hedi Slimane en Saint Laurent.

Muchachas como Sarah hay miles, el mundo del modelaje es mucho más competitivo que el de los diseñadores y hasta de los bloggers y prensa, lo importante –como en el caso de Sarah- es mantenerse con los pies en la Tierra y estar consciente que en las palabras de Heidi Klum: “one day you’re in, and the other day you’re out”.

I met Sarah on my way out of the Louis Vuitton SS16 show this morning. I stopped her for a beauty picture but since she had already taken her make-up off we just immersed ourselves in conversation about this season’s sheananigans.

Sarah is from Memphis, city where she was also discovered by a booker. She now lives in New York in order to pursuit her career as a model, which by the way seems to have started with the biggest bang: Alexander Wang’s last Fall/Winter, and she walked for Hedi Slimane’s Saint Laurent last night.

Girls like Sarah are a million nowadays. The modeling world is much more competitive than the one that revolves around designers, bloggers or press, the important thing –as Sarah showed me- is to always keep yourself grounded and keep clear in mind that, in the words of Heidi Klum: “in fashion one day you’re in, and the other day you’re out.”

OFF DUTY: Ina

Conocí a Ina en el set de fotos del Especial de Bodas de Mundo Social el que co-styled junto con mi amiga Pia.

La inspiración del fashion story era princesas clásicas de Europa (piensen Grace Kelly) e Ina fue una muy buena princesa, actually mi toma favorita de todo el shoot fue en la que Ina modela un vestidazo de Gaudí Novias, por ahí les muestro las fotos finales :D

I met Ina at the set of the Bridal Special of Mundo Social, which I co-styled with my friend Pia (this was also my first time styling something other tan my naked hot piece of ass every morning).

The inspiration for the fashion story was Classic Royal Princesses (Grace Kelly anyone?), which I think Ina portrayed greatly. Actually my favourite shot of the whole story is her solo shot where she’s wearing a gorg bridal gown from Gaudí Novias.
