cada una de estas ciudades tienen algo que las une y ha sido el métiers d’art de Chanel.
Estas colecciones son presentadas fuera del
calendario normal de desfiles (aunque normalmente caen justo para la temporada
de colecciones Pre-Fall) con el fin de celebrar el virtuosismo de los ateliers
y sus habilidades artesanales.
Muchas veces criticadas por sus exorbitantes sets –
que muchos han manifestado distraen la atención de las piezas de vestir, las
verdaderas protagonistas del show – estas colecciones no solo vienen
acompañadas de increíbles sets, también de increíbles locaciones (Mumbai en el
2012, Edimburgo en el 2013, Dallas en el 2014, Salzburgo en el 2015 y Roma a
principios de este año) a las que solamente son invitadas clientes top de la
marca y editores internacionales.

The Métiers d'Art collections are normally presented outside of the average fashion calendar (although that coincide perfectly with the Pre-Fall collections) and their goal is mainly to celebrate the savoir-faire of the maison and the hands that have sewn every single thread of its history.
Criticized many times for its outlandishness - that many say are just to put away the attention to the lack of perspective on the clothes, which translates in exhausting collections of repetitive looks that go up to 100 exits - these events are married also with incredible locations (Mumbai in 2012, Edinburgh in 2013, Dallas in 2014, Salzburg in 2015 and Rome in early 2016), to which only top clients and international editors are invited, flown and feted.
