Pilar’s a warm & fun woman that
has been surrounded by clothes, design & sewing since her early days. She
grew up in the family atelier where a lot of important clients had their
clothes made. With that background Pilar took a chance into the world
of wedding dresses.
She defines herself as an innovative,
moderated & elegant woman. With a great career on her shoulders she
highlights the fact that she had the cover of Vogue Spain for the July 2010
issue, making her one of the most notable designers in the wedding field in Spain.
When I asked her if she could mention
just one thing that separated her from all the other wedding dresses designers she stated: “I always search deep within the bride’s life, I need to
make her feel comfortable in the most important day of her life, it is super
essential to know all the elements that will compose the celebration: the
venue, the time, the theme, etc.”
As an usual guest in Panama, she is able to recognize nowadays the need of different & well made wedding dresses,
need that was also addressed by Marisa Midolo & Sara Bassan. The three of them really hope they can get
touch the life of Panamanian brides, usually known for always ask for more &
innovation.
This Fashion Week Panama Pilar will
be showcasing Brainstorming, a collection composed of 12 wedding dresses that
honor the title with her need to prove her range & talent through 12
dresses. A very tough decision for a designer to make.
........................................
