Usualmente para esta época
del año estoy en un pueblo llamado Las Tablas disfrutando de mis carnavales y
rostizándome bajo un sol impertinente. Sin embargo, el 2013 es ha sido la
excepción ya que mis carnavales se redujeron a pasarlos en mi cuarto viendo
películas y tomando vino bajo las mantas.
Con
el propósito de ahorrar para Las Vegas decidí quedarme en la ciudad para los
carnavales y la verdad es que no me arrepiento, he podido seguir New York
Fashion Week religiosamente y disfrute de las calles sin una pizca de tráfico.
El
domingo acompañé a mi amiga Francesca a caminar por Casco Viejo y a comernos un
raspao asi que aproveché para tomar fotitos para el blog.
Y
viéndolo de otra forma... mis carnavales llegarán medio atrasados pero serán
los mejores ;)

Usually during this time of the year I’m at a little
town called Las Tablas enjoying my carnivals & being roasted under the merciless sun.
This year being the exception I decided to stay home watching chick flicks
& drowning myself in bottles of cheap white wine. A TOTAL SUCCESS!
I needed time for myself & I could save money for
my upcoming trip to Las Vegas (counting up the days :D) & God I tell you, I
do not regret it, at all. I’ve been able to watch religiously the New York
Fashion Week shows (can we talk about A. Wang & Suno & Prabal!!?)
So staying in the city was such a relief from the
crazy life we experience here in Panama, it was so good to drive through no
traffic & to just walk Casco Viejo with my friend Francesca while drinking
raspaos (a Panamanian specialty).
And now that I think about it, I will have carnivals;
just that they will come with a delay of some days but still, they will rock as
fuck!
