Essence

Hello everybody!

Essence

From all the shades that life has, from all the subtle things that God gave us I think art, beauty & hope are the nearest to my soul. It is incredible how those non tangible substances, those spectrums, those understanments that cannot be kept, and those guards that embrace us trough every stage of our existence are able to translate their meaning in such beautiful results.
There are many people who believe that beauty equals to an easy to look girl or guy, or maybe a stunning paint by Jan van Eyck, Dalí or Delacroix. I’m sort of a hybrid; I’ve always believed that the beauty stays with the unseen, with the mystery, with the unknown. And maybe it’s because I’m used to see life from a different perspective since I was raised by two amazing artists, both of them truly talented and who I really admire and look up to, or because I like the contrasts, I love when things are monochromatic, black and white, ying and yang, love and hate, it gives me diversity, it gives me art.
Have you thought about the little things in life? About that old guy you passed by when you went to the supermarket?  Or the “biencuida’o” that “took care” of your car while you were paying those bills? Have you thought about the similarities you have with all of them, with the whole world? As John Lennon said “You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one” I truly believe that dreams are what allows us to be alive, they are the engine which makes life a cycle.
I think I’m just rambling, maybe I’m making a point, I really don’t know, everything is more exciting when you don’t know what to expect, when you are not sure whether something’s right or wrong, everything is more exciting when you have dreams and you do whatever it takes to accomplish them, that is the magic of being alive, being able to do something relevant for yourself, something that’s worth fighting for.
So, next time you find yourself in front of a crossroad, try to follow your dreams, be intuitive, we all humans are seekers, at the end of the road we are animals and as animals we will die.
