Hard As A Rock

Hoy quise usar esta gorra por una razón en especial. Es muy lamentable ver como la humanidad se carcome a sí misma y como el terror se convierte en un arma a la que cada vez más se acude cuando se quiere hacer daño sin razón a terceros.

El momento en que supe de los sucesos de Boston lo primero que hice fue asegurarme que mi hermana, la cual estudia en Boston, estuviera bien y fuera de peligro, gracias a Dios ella estaba a salvo de todo daño pero estoy seguro que muchas personas no recibieron la misma respuesta que yo recibí cuando trataron de comunicarse con alguien que por X o Y razón se vio involucrado con la situación.

Por eso el nombre del post, el terrorista se alimenta de nuestras frustraciones y de nuestros miedos, si nos mantenemos duros como una roca y unidos como un anillo puede que suene cliché pero nada podrá hacernos daño, sólo queda compartir la compasión y el amor que tanto necesita este mundo.

The moment I heard about what had happened in Boston I immediately tried to communicate with my sister, who lives & studies at the city. Thanks to God I got an answer from the other side of the line, a relieving answer, but I’m sure there were people who did the same but got answers not that positive.

Today, with the news of a 3rd fatal victim I wore this baseball cap proudly with the purpose of somehow send all of my wishes & prayers to the ones that are not only suffering physically but also emotionally & psychologically. I know it may sound a little cliché but all we have to do is stay hard as a rock & not let this things take all of our beings, compassion & love is the only cure to terrorist attempts, humanity is a Word we still have to work & embrace, let’s just hope it’s not too late.
